Arcomed AG, the Swiss manufacturer, has been designing and producing infusion pumps since 1975. As a fully independent company, Arcomed Switzerland owns and controls sister companies in France, Germany and the UK. The manufacturing division is based in Regensdorf and the international sales division is in Geneva.
Arcomed Switzerland exports equipment to over 40 countries worldwide through its distributor network. Distributors are fully product trained in sales and servicing by Arcomed staff. The product base includes two volumetric infusion pumps, the Volumed uVP5000 and Volumed uVP5005, and one modular syringe pump, the Syramed uSP6000. The uVP5000 is designed to use a silicone inset infusion set and the uVP5005 uses a standard PVC infusion set. Both pumps are easy to use, but have many advanced fatures, such as primary/secondary/bolus infusion modes and pressure management. The uSP6000 syringe pump accepts all major syringe brands in sizes from 5 ml up to 50/60 ml and features automatic syringe loading manual and automatic bolus modes, and easy stacking. Arcomed supplies a full range of disposables for use with its products. These disposables are manufactured to Arcomed specifications wtih appropriate quality standards by well known manufacturers. All Arcomed products are CE marked and have the necessary regulatory certificates. |
