Biomedical Systems - Century Series
Established in 1975, Biomedical Systems developed The Century Holter scanner after 15 years experience as a leading Holter service provider nationwide. Drawing from scanning technicians, collaborative research efforts with major universities and a team of design engineers, the Century line was created and has been sold worldwide since 1989. Biomedical Systems is now a leading provider of EKG, Holter, Respiratory & Ambulatory Blood Pressure services for the Pharmaceutical industry where high quality controls are the standard. The Century line of Holter scanners offers the Century Series 2000 & 3000, comprehensive, interactive Holter systems designed to accomodate the most discerning technicians. A Windows based platform utilising mouse and /or keyboard control, the Century Series incorporates all of the traditional scanning techniques including Superimposition and Page Mode Scanning as well as innovative edit tools designed to decrease scanning time and increase accuracy. What makes the Century Series right for you is the flexibility to choose from several different scanning modes. Technicians of different backgrounds can all be accomodated on the same Century Series system. Specialised areas of interest in Holter data, like ST, QT, HRV and RTV, including Poincare graphs, are all part of the Century Series Package. Easy editing tools allow for fast, accurate corrections with normal and artifact tapes. Special network features and export modules allow your Holter data to be stored and reviewed from other applications, such as EKG management systems and hospital archives. The flexible and open architecture of the Century Series permits the use of other applications on the same PC used by scanner, freeing up valuable workspace in your department or office. Whether it’s a word processor or PC based applications, you can run them on the same computer. After all, it’s your PC and you should be able to do what you want with it. BMS Digital Recorder DR512 The new Biomedical systems DR512 is a lightweight, compact, digital Holter Recorder designed for reliability in ambulatory ECG applications. The new digital design should last as much as 10 times longer between service intervals than the tape based predecessor.The standard unit utilises a compact flash card. The ECG data is stored on the flash card with our propriety ECG compression algorithm. The DR512 is easy to use and is available in 5 and 7 lead configurations. You can expect a more accurate ST segment and R-R interval because all the tape based variables are removed. Digital Holter Recorder Aspekt The new Biomedical systems ECG Holter recorder is a digital solid state device, designed for 24 hours continuous 3-channel ECG recording at a sampling rate of 256 samples/sec. The non-volatile digital PCMCIA Flash memory storage, 40MB, assures total data integrity. The recorder has an infrared transmitter and the system comes with a serial infrared adapter and software permitting to control the quality of the hook-up in no time.
