To be able to offer international patients treatment options on the highest level, it is one of the essential premises that the negotiating agency has detailed knowledge about strengths and weaknesses of the German health sector. The long term experience of the managing director of GerMedic GmbH guarantees this detailed knowledge. In cooperation with the Committee for Promoting German Medicine in Foreign Countries - a non-profit organization under the lead of the influential German hospital associations - a network of German hospitals has got together, that with their medical service range as well as with their service ideas is directed towards the treatment of international patients.

Only like that can a direct communication be guaranteed. For the patients this ensures that there is a competent partner available at any time who has all relevant information. For the administration of the patient cases we also use our own self-developed software. Translation of medical reports The triage of medical reports that should be as detailed as possible, is an indispensable pre-condition. This includes besides the written reports also x-ray images, laboratory results etc.. All documents will be translated by trained personnel of GerMedic GmbH and they are the basis for the following hospital research. The more clear the reports, the more precise can GerMedic GmbH choose the suitable hospital for the treatment and develop a treatment offer. Of course we also translate the discharge reports of the German hospital after completion of the treatment.

Patients that arrive in a hospital for treatment are in a difficult, unprotected life situation. Relatives of these patients are worried and want to have the best possible treatment ensured. These facts apply already for a treatment in a hospital in the home country - much more for patients that travel to a foreign country for a treatment. We know the procedures in our partner hospitals and we are not able to fulfill all of the patients demands for a steady presence of our patient supervisors - in the sense of the cost situation for patients and/or sponsors. This is what we call ?patient management? - a relatively cold term, but it stands for a lot of personal engagement by our patient supervisors.
