TRACOE medical, a German company, is specialized in developing and manufacturing tracheostomy tubes and related products for clinical use and home-care applications.
This specialization allows TRACOE to offer premium products with individual product lines for each of these two markets and with a host of product variants within each line. TRACOE comfort tracheostomy tubes have been designed to suit the specific requirements for long-term use after tracheostomy or laryngectomy. Lightweight and transparent, easy to clean, handle and maintain they are the tubes of choice for home-care use. TRACOE twist tracheostomy tubes are the most recent tracheostomy tubes for clinical use in anaesthesiology and intensive care as well as postoperative. Made of medical-grade, thermoflexible polyurethane they are soft and smooth with extremely thin walls. Weight and wall thickness are up to 2/3 less than in conventional tracheostomy tubes. They have a patented anatomically shaped double swivel neck plate, which allows the patient to move head and neck freely without causing extra pressure of the tube on the trachea. TRACOE grid and stoma buttons are the products of choice for tracheotomized and laryngectomized patients who no longer need a full-length tracheostomy tube or who have a voice prothesis. A range of specific accessories (protective grid, occlusion plug, heat and moisture exchanger, adjustable speaking valve) allows each patient to select the set best suited for his individual needs. The TRACOE cuff pressure control device is a new instrument to automatically monitor and adjust the cuff pressure of tracheostomy tubes and endotracheal tubes. A large selection of specific accessories for tracheostomy tube care, such as cleaning sets, as well as for tracheal care, such as compresses, neck straps, distance holders and specific textiles complement TRACOE´s product range. TRACOE products are manufactured according to highest quality standards (ISO 9001 in combination with ISO 46001) and are approved by CE, FDA and Shonin.
