TRUMPF GmbH, Saalfeld (Thuringia, Germany), 100% subsidiary of HUTTINGER Medizintechnik. It was formerly known as Blancomed.
BLANCOMED was founded on 15th October 1991 as a 100% subsidiary of BLANCO GmbH&Co.KG Oberderdingen. 135 employees were taken over from the former Zeiss-Werk in Saalfeld.

The competence of BLANCO in the field of stainless steel machining and the know-how of the former "Zeissians" in medical technology, control technology and electronics provides the basis for further development.

TRUMPF offers a widely-diversified range of goods consisting of the following product lines:

Operating tables and accessories which all originate from our own production and development.
Stainless steel furnishings and equipment for the operating theatre, and
Custom-made solutions for patient positioning systems (OEM), which also come from our own production and development.

Since 1995, the company has been working on contract for SIEMENS on the development and production of patient positioning facilities for magnetic resonance systems in the field of diagnostics. In the future, TRUMPF GmbH will also be an OEM partner with other customers in this business sector.

The concentration on core specialities (machining stainless steel, laser technology) and optimal manufacturing processes ensures our long-term place in the market segment "patient positioning".

World-wide sales structure in approximately 40 countries, around 60% of sales are exported.

TRUMPF has a sales and marketing structure at home and abroad with main dealers and well-known agencies who are close to the customers.
